Kankakee Traffic Stop Ends With Drug Arrest

Kankakee City Police report a traffic stop Tuesday ended with a drug arrest. According to reports an officer on patrol in the area of the 200 block of Tedmark Court saw a black pickup driving in the area. When the officer started to drive behind the pickup, officers say it abruptly pulled over and parked without signaling. That’s when the officer says he conducted a traffic stop.

Reports say 37-year-old Jennifer Corn was inside the truck and a check found her to be wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Livingston County. While taking Corn into custody a search of the truck allegedly turned up a clear plastic baggie containing suspected methamphetamine. Corn was taken into custody for possession of meth as well as the outstanding warrant.
