Woman Shot to Death in Kankakee Today

A woman is dead and a relative is under arrest following a fatal shooting this morning in the 800 block of South Dearborn in Kankakee.  City police say the suspect, a 27 year old man walked into the police department about 10:30 this morning and announced he had shot the 46 year old woman to death and told officers where they could find the body.    Police have not yet released the names of those involved as the investigation is still ongoing.
