Homicide Victim ID’d

We have an update now on that shooting in Kankakee yesterday that left a 46-year-old woman dead and a relative is under arrest. Kankakee City police say a 27 year old man walked into the police department about 10:30 Thursday morning and announced he had shot the woman to death at a home in the 800 block of South Dearborn Avenue. Police took the man into custody. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner says Tamina Green was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound at the home about 11 yesterday morning.
