Drowning Victim’s Body Found

The search for a man feared drowned when he fell in the Kankakee River last month is over. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner reports the body of 60-year-old Robert L. Gaddis Junior of Riverdale was found face down in the river, not far from where he reportedly fell in October 30th while working on an irrigation system near Aroma Park. Gessner says Gaddis’ body was pulled from the river just after 4:30 yesterday afternoon and was identified by a family member.
