During Thursday morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Finance Committee, County Auditor Colton Ekhoff gave the committee a rundown of some of the activities from his office in 2025.
Ekhoff told the committee transparency has been the major focus of his office in the past year.
Ekhoff said making financial reports available throughout the year helps keep County finances transparent adding anyone can go online and see how tax dollars are being spent in real-time.
