State Police announce drug arrest

Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group agents and the Illinois State Police report the arrest of  a Kankakee man on drug charges. A press release says KAMEG agents and State Troopers arrested 58-year-old Douglas P Moore of Kankakee early Friday morning after an extensive narcotics investigation in the Kankakee area. Reports say KAMEG agents, the State Police Swat Team and City of Kankakee Police officers served a search warrant at Moore’s home in the 19-hundred block of East Oak about 4:30 Friday morning. That search allegedly turned up almost 200 grams of meth, more than 50 grams of crack, about 100 fentanyl pills and about 12 grams of heroin. A gun and drug paraphernalia were also allegedly recovered in the house. Moore was arrested on charged that include possession of meth with intent to deliver, manufacture or delivery of fentanyl and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver among other charges.
