Kankakee Police investigate fatal shooting

An investigation is underway after three men were found shot to death Wednesday afternoon in a home in the 600 block of West Merchant Street. Few details have been released, but Kankakee Police Chief Robin Passwater says officers were called to the home about two yesterday afternoon for a gunshot victim inside the home. Reports say a search turned up three dead men inside the home. The Kankakee City Police along with Illinois State Police and the Kankakee County Coroner’s office continue to investigate the incident.
