Woman Pleads Guilty to Battery a Police Officer

A Channahon woman who pleaded guilty to aggravated battery to police has been sentenced to 3 years in prison in Grundy County Court.  24 year old Kyla Hill battered a woman at a home on Lyndsay Drive in August of last  year, then damaged state property and struck a Channahon police officer during her arrest.  Hill has volunteered to join the county’s alternative treatment court program.  If she fails, Hill will have to serve half her sentence.  If she passes, the charges will be dropped.
