Shots Fired in Kankakee

City Police were dispatched to the 500 block of South Rosewood about 6:30 Tuesday night for a report of shots fired. When they got there, officers say they found spent shell casings and an unspent round in the intersection of South Rosewood and East Bourbonnais Street. While collecting evidence at the scene, reports say a woman drove up to officers and said she’d been passing through the area when another car pulled up beside them and started shooting. Officers noted damage to the car. No one inside was injured.
