Benton County Sheriff’s Police investigating suspected overdose death

Benton County Sheriff’s Police have a suspected overdose death investigation on their hands.  Saturday afternoon Deputies were called to the 300 block of west Vine Street in Oxford Indiana for a 31 year old woman found not breathing.  The woman, who’s ID has not been released, was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.  A search of the home did turn up drugs.  Arrested was 33 year old Benjamin Elness. Three children in the home at the time are being cared for by family.  Elness is charged with dealing in a controlled substance causing a death.
