Iroquois County chase

A Piper City teen was arrested by Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police this week after allegedly leading authorities on a chase. According to reports, Iroquois County Deputies tried to stop the car driven by 18-year-old Collin W. Coveyou for an equipment violation. Instead of pulling over, Coveyou reportedly took off, leading deputies on a chase that ended when he finally stopped his car in the 100  block of South Central in Gilman. Coveyou was arrested by Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police for Aggravated fleeting an eluding, not having insurance and several traffic violations.
