Tannhauser’s body recovered

It appears the body of a missing Wilmington woman has been found. A large police presence was reported at the Kankakee River State Park Wednesday afternoon and late yesterday afternoon the family of Jennifer Murphy/Tannhauser posted on social media that her body had been found. There has been no official confirmation of the recovery of Tannhauser’s body. Jennifer Murphy/Tannhauser went missing from her home in Wilmington nearly two weeks ago. Her car was found at one of the State Park hunting areas the following day.
