A motorcycle crash over the weekend took the life of a Senior at Cissna Park High School. Illinois State Police say it was just after 4:30 Saturday night when 17-year-old Colson Carley of Milford was northbound on Route One just south of 1330 North Road in rural Iroquois County when his motorcycle crossed the road and went into the southbound ditch where it hit a culvert, throwing Carley from the bike. He was taken to Iroquois Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries. A vigil/remembrance for Carley was held last night in front of the high school and a team of counselors, social workers and pastors are at the school today to help students and staff that need someone to talk to. Visitation for Colson Carley will run from three Wednesday afternoon until seven Wednesday night at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Private services have been planned for his family.
