Traffic Stop nets Kankakee City Police Drug Arrest

A traffic stop Monday evening netted Kankakee City Police a drug arrest. According to reports, just before 7:30 last night, officers stopped an SUV in the 600 block of East Chestnut for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver of the car okayed a search and that search allegedly turned up a plastic container under the passenger side front seat. That passenger, identified as 30-year-old Bess O. Santee allegedly told police the container held both Fentanyl and Crack. City Police arrested Santee for possession with intent to deliver.
