Sunday Night Fire Damages Mobile Home in Kankakee

Kankakee Fire Department personnel were called to a fire in a mobile home late Sunday night. Firefighters were called to the fire in the 19-hundred block of South Schuyler Avenue just after 11 last night. Reports say the mobile home was empty at the time of the fire with an eviction notice on the door dated February 6th. The fire reportedly kept to a single room in the mobile home and was put out quickly. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
