Jasper County Indiana Deputies Arrest Illinois man on Child sex Charges

Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police report the arrest of a 31-year-old Belvidere Illinois man on child sex charges. In a press release, Jasper County Deputies say they were contacted just before six Saturday night and told that Zachary Moritz of Belvidere had been in contact with a 14-year-old girl via social media and had solicited her for sex. Deputies say they located Moritz in the area where he was attempting to meet the girl and took him into custody for solicitation of a child and inappropriate communication with a child, both level four felonies. Moritz is being held without bond in the Jasper County Jail.
