Kankakee City Police report an arrest after a man allegedly threatened another man with a samurai sword. According to reports, it was just before 2:30 yesterday morning when officers were called to a home in the 17-hundred block of East Maple by an anonymous caller who said there was a man in a gray truck with a pistol and a shotgun, wearing a bulletproof vest. When they got there, officers stopped the truck and detained the driver. Reports say about that time 45-year-old Marc J Greska walked by and started yelling at the driver of the truck. A man on a nearby porch told police Greska had allegedly had a fight with his girlfriend and threatened another man with a sword when he stepped in to break up the fight. That man told police he stepped in to break up the fight and Greska held a sword to his throat. City Police arrested Greska for aggravated assault among other charges.
