No Injuries in Manteno Fire Sunday

No injuries were reported from a fire at a home in Manteno Sunday. In a press release, Manteno fire says it was just before 4:30 yesterday afternoon when they were called to the home in the 800 block of Lakeview Drive in Manteno. When they got there, they say they found heavy smoke coming from the roofline of the home with the home’s occupants in the driveway directing firefighters. Reports say fire damage was confined to a bedroom with smoke damage throughout the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
