Iroquois County Authorities Make Arrest in Milford Murder

Iroquois County Sherriff’s Police have made an arrest in connection with the death of 37-year-old Ashley Tucker in Milford this past October. According to a press release, 53-year-old Christopher Burton of Milford was arrested Friday and charged with first degree murder. Burton’s arrest comes after a months long investigation into the house fire at 208 North Grant Street in Milford in October 2025 that led to the death of Tucker. The investigation is still on going. Burton is currently being held in the Iroquois County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
