A call for an erratic driver Saturday night netted Kankakee City Police a pair of drug arrests. According to reports, it was just before 8:30 Saturday night when officers were called about a car swerving in and out of traffic near Court Street and Kennedy Drive. On the way there, officers were told a car matching a description of the car driving recklessly was at a gas station on West Court. When they got to the gas station, officers spoke with the occupants of the car. Police allegedly found a baggie of suspected crack cocaine lying just outside the passenger side of the car. A search of the car allegedly turned up more crack cocaine, a baggie of suspected mushrooms and several containers holding suspected cannabis. City Police arrested 44-year-old Estella M. Casarrubias for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and 42-year-old William Wylie for possession with intent to deliver among other charges.
