Bradley Police report the arrest of a Kankakee man Saturday after he allegedly battered one of their officers. According to reports, officers responded to a business in the 100 block of South Kennedy Drive around 5:30 Saturday night in reference to an unruly customer. When police arrived, they spoke with a woman sitting in the drivers seat of her car in the drive-thru along with the caller from the business. According to both the caller and the woman, there was a delay in getting the woman’s food she ordered. The woman wanted a refund and the business gave her one. Officers encountered a man later identified as 32-year-old Deangelon M. Springer of Kankakee, who was a passenger from the car, allegedly entered the business and became disorderly. Police attempted to identify Springer but he became uncooperative and resisted. Police arrested Springer for aggravated battery to a peace officer among other charges.
