Newton County EMA Asking for Monetary Donations

The Newton County Emergency Management Agency says they will no longer be accepting physical donations. They say moving forward they’ll only be accepting monetary donations for those wishing to help out with those whose homes were lost or damaged during Tuesday night’s tornado. Those wishing to make donations to the Newton County effort can drop off donations at, Kentland Bank (all branches expect Lake Village,  Demotte State Bank, Community State Bank, Fowler State Bank and First Financial Bank. They say when you drop off the funds, all you need to do is tell them its a donation for the Lake Village Relief Fund.
