Bradley police arrested a Kankakee man Friday night after he allegedly tried to hit two people with his car. According to reports, police responded to a call at a business in the 1200 Block of North Bradley Boulevard around five-thirty Friday night. The caller said a man, later identified as 49-year-old Steven D. Evans, was allegedly asking patrons for money and threatening them when they declined to give. Evans was told to leave by business employees and when doing so, Evans allegedly drove a vehicle at the two employees, who luckily moved out of the way so they wouldn’t be hit. Officers located Evans a short time later and booked him for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.
