Shots Fired in Kankakee Monday

Kankakee City Police responded to a shots fired call on the city’s east side Monday night. According to reports, the shots were heard near a home in the 200 block of North Evergreen Avenue just before 8:00 Monday night. When officers arrived, they located five spent nine millimeter shell casings in the west alley behind the home in front of the garage. Police continue to investigate.
