Bourbonnais Fire Responded to Pickup Truck Fire at Olivet

Bourbonnais Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire just before Noon yesterday at Olivet Nazarene University. Bourbonnais Fire Chief Jim Keener tells us that when crews arrived at Olivet, they found a Ford F-150 pickup truck on fire in the Reel Hall of Science parking lot. The fire was in the truck’s engine compartment, and crews were on the scene for about thirty minutes. Chief Keener says they are unsure what caused the pickup to catch fire and that it has been deemed a total loss. No one was injured and no other vehicles were damaged by the fire.
