Grandfather and 3 Grandchildren Die in Crete Township House Fire

Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire in the village of Crete that left four family members, including three children, dead.  Officials say crews responded to the blaze early yesterday at a home on Chalet Court.  The victims were found dead inside the home.  Family identified the victims as 71-year-old Walter Palmer and his three grandchildren.  The Crete-Monee School District says three of their students were killed, including two at Monee Elementary and one at Crete-Monee High School
