The state of Illinois is paying tribute to the Chicago firefighter who died earlier this month. Flags are being flown at half-staff in the state until sunset today to honor Michael Altman. Altman died from injuries suffered while battling a blaze on March 16th on the city’s Far North Side. A man accused of setting the fire faces murder and arson charges. His family is holding funeral services today in Chicago.
