IDOT plans meeting to discuss Rte 50 changes

A Public Meeting is being held on April 8th by the Illinois Department of Transportation to discuss improvements along Route 50. The meeting will be focusing on the preliminary engineering and environmental study for improvements of Route 50, from south of Brookmont Boulevard to Jeffery Street. Participants are encouraged to come at any time to view the pre recorded presentation, view displays and graphics, discuss design concepts with IDOT staff, ask questions, and more. The event will take place from 4 to 6 pm in Building D at Kankakee Community College
