Bond set for DeMotte Shooter

Bond’s been set at 50-million-dollars for a DeMotte Indiana man that allegedly shot a Lake Village Indiana man last Friday. Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police were called to a hospital in Crown Point just after seven last Friday morning for a report of a gunshot victim. Police say 45-year-old Christopher Jackson of DeMotte allegedly shot the other man during an argument in rural Jasper County. Jackson then drove the other man to the hospital before taking off on foot. He was found a short time later and was taken into custody. The victim is expected to survive. On Saturday, a Jasper County Judge ordered Jackson held on 50-million-dollars bond. Jackson has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and criminal confinement among other charges
