Authorities have identified the man that was shot and killed by Bradley Police Wednesday afternoon. The Daily Journal says Coroner Bob Gessner identified the man as 34-year-old Jose Orozco of Bradley. Orozco was shot and killed just before one Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 600 block of Jonette Avenue, when police arrived at the house for a wellness check and Orozco reportedly confronted them with a bladed weapon. Gessner says the preliminary cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, but a final cause of death has yet to be determined. The Illinois State Police area investigating the shooting.
