Grant Park orders new fire truck

It looks like the Grant Park Fire Department will be adding a truck to the fleet. In a Facebook post the Grant Park Fire Department said a vote was taken last week to buy a new fire truck with a 75 foot ladder and 500 gallon water tank. The post says the truck will be paid for using funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the hope is to have the new truck in place sometime in 2023.
