Peru 12-year-old girl killed when tree falls on her

A 12-year-old girl is dead after a tree fell on her in Peru, Illinois.  Authorities say the child was playing with two others on a family farm near a wooded area when the incident happened Sunday.  The results of an autopsy are pending.  The incident is under investigation.
