Gas prices on the rise

Gas prices across the nation and around Illinois are headed back up as we head into the Easter weekend. Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of regular no-lead gas in Illinois is 4.33, significantly higher than the nation-wide average of 4.07. In Kankakee County gas is averaging 4.20 a gallon, up six cents from yesterday, but down three cents from last week and down 29 cents from a month ago. A year ago, a gallon of gas in Kankakee County was running 2.96 a gallon.
