There’s going to be a lot of road work in the Kankakee County area this summer. During last night’s Bourbonnais Village Board meeting, Mayor Paul Schore reminded those traveling the area to be careful as work begins on the Armour Road Bridge replacement project.
The Armour Road Bridge Project is expected to be completed by sometime in mid-2023. Also during last night’s meeting, village trustees voted on a resolution to expend local funds for the Village portion of the IDOT project to repave Route 102 form the Will County line to Route 45. Again, Mayor Schore
The Village portion is around 152-thousand dollars of the total five-million-dollar project.
