Boshears trial resumes today in Will County Court

The murder trial of 36 year old Jeremy Boshears took a break Friday in Will County Court.  Thursday persecutors spent several hours detailing the relationship between the married Boshears and the victim, 24 year old Katie Kearns.  Also yesterday the jury heard testimony from a friend of Kearns who spoke of her concern for Kearns drug and alcohol use and of her mental health.   The prosecution is expected to wrap their case when testimony resumes on Monday.   The state alleges Boshears shot and killed Kearns in a jealous rage.  The defense claims she killed herself.
