Bradley man arrested for taking kids without permission

Three young children are safely home with their mother after, authorities say, they were abducted by their “purtative father” on Monday. Bradley Police say they were called to a home in the 200 block of South Wabash about seven yesterday morning for a report of a possible Parental Child Abduction.  Officers were told 27-year-old Ryan Simington had allegedly abducted the three from the biological mother.  The mother told police Simington had left the home in an SUV after threatening her. Kankakee County Sheriff’s Deputies later found Simington and took him into custody without incident. Simington was taken into custody for Kidnapping/Parental Abduction, Child Endangerment and Disorderly Conduct.  The children were returned to the mother unharmed.
