Kankakee School District 111 looking for a new principal at Mark Twain Elementary

Kankakee School District 111 is still looking for a new principal at Mark Twain Elementary.  The Daily Journal reports the woman chosen to replace outgoing principal Ericka Garza has informed the district that she will not be able to take the job because of an undisclosed emergency.  The district is now looking at their options and may decide to hire an interim replacement while the search continues for Garza’s successor.  Garza has accepted a job as principal of Meadowbrook School in Northbrook.
