Kankakee Number 9 on List of Racist U.S. Cities

The City of Kankakee is ranked number 9 on a list of the most racist cities in the county for 2022.  The list was compiled by World Population Review. Com.   Other Illinois cities to make the top 15 were Peoria, Decatur, Springfield, Danville Chicago, Naperville and Elgin.  Cedar Falls, Iowa was ranked the number one racist city in America.  The publication used census data to make up the list and based their rankings on median household income, unemployment rates, homeownership, poverty rates, high school and bachelor’s degree attainment and incarceration rates.
