Kankakee station rolled back gas price Wednesday to what price was when President Biden was sworn into office

For two hours Wednesday the price of gas was rolled back to what it cost when President Biden was sworn into office.  From 10 until Noon commuters lined up down the block to take advantage of a gallon of regular going for 2.38 cents a gallon at Mike’s Corner Shell at west station and south Wall Street.   It was a political statement.  The group Americans for Prosperity sponsored the event to send a message to President Joe Biden during his visit to the county yesterday encouraging his administration to increase oil production.
