The Village of Manteno has announced a plan to offer a property tax rebate to home owners in the Village. Mayor Tim Nugent says it’s something the Village Board has been considering for quite some time
Nugent says it’s the first time the village has had a special program for home owners
The application is due October 31st and Nugent says once it’s processed, homeowners would see a check for the village portion of their property taxes in the mail by about Christmastime. You can call the Manteno Village Hall if you have a question about the program.
