No one hurt in early morning Kankakee fire

Kankakee City Fire Department personnel were called to an abandoned home in the 12-hundred block of East Chestnut early this morning to put out a blaze. Reports say no one was on the scene when firefighters got there just after two this morning and the fire was put out without issue. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
