Former Ludlow resident sentenced on sex charges

A former resident of Ludlow has been sentenced to 25 years in prison on Illinois assault charges and 27 years on federal child sex charges.  38 year old Richard L. Cruse was arrested in September of 2020 after he showed child pornography to a 12 year old and then assaulted the child. Both sentences will be served concurrently.
