Gas prices up slightly

Another week, another record high price for a gallon of gas in the State of Illinois. Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of regular no-lead in the Land of Lincoln is five-dollars-56 cents. Up slightly from yesterday’s high. In Kankakee County, a gallon of gas will set you back 5.35, down slightly from Friday’s record high of 5.37 a gallon. Triple-A says gas in Iroquois County is running 5.19 a gallon. It’s 5.21 in Ford County and 5.11 in Livingston County. In Northwest Indiana gas is 5.20 a gallon in Newton County, 5.17 in Benton County and 5.22 a gallon in Jasper County. The state-wide average for the Hoosier state is five-dollars-22 cents.
