Gas prices go down…kinda

Gas prices didn’t spike overnight, but they didn’t fall much either. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas in the State of Illinois is five-dollars-55 cents, down about a half cent from yesterday. In Kankakee County prices are pretty much unchanged at 5-34. Gas will run you 5.18 a gallon in Iroquois County, 5.22 in Ford County and 5.14 in Livingston County. In Northwest Indiana Newton County is running 5.20 a gallon, it’s 5.17 in Benton County and 5.20 in Jasper County. The average cost for a gallon of gas in the Hoosier state is 5.20. Down a penny from yesterday.
