Indianapolis man arrested following single vehicle fatal accident

An Indianapolis man has been arrested following a single vehicle fatal accident Thursday afternoon on   I-65 4 miles south of Rossville.  Indiana State police say a vehicle driven by 49 year old Melege Joseph was heading southbound in the left hand lane where three lanes merge into two.  Joseph failed to merge into traffic and continued onto the shoulder where he lost control, crossed both southbound lanes and rolled the vehicle into the ditch. A passenger in the vehicle was killed in the crash while Joseph and two others were hospitalized.  Joseph is facing a preliminary felon charge of driving while on a suspended license causing a death.
