Monday gas prices

Gasoline prices in the State of Illinois are starting the week down a bit. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas in the Land of Lincoln in five-dollars-50 cents, down a penny from yesterday. Gas in Kankakee County is averaging 5.31 a gallon that’s up a penny from yesterday and two-dollars-six cents higher than we were paying a year ago at this time. Triple-A says gas in Iroquois County starts the week at 5.21, it’s 5.25 in Ford County and 5.13 in Livingston County. Gas in Newton County Indiana will set you back 5.16 a gallon. The average is 5.10 in Benton County and 5.19 in Jasper County. Across the Hoosier State the average is 5.13 a gallon. The nation-wide average is 4.98
