Fair Oaks Man Arrested for Battering a Juvenile

A Fair Oaks, Indiana man was arrested over the weekend on multiple charges including strangulation after Jasper County Sheriff’s police were called to a home Saturday for a domestic incident involving a juvenile. Following their investigation police say 32 year old Hector Martinez allegedly battered the juvenile and also interfered with the juveniles 911 call to police for help.  Along with strangulation, domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call, Martinez also faces several charges for resisting arrest.
