Gavin named interim executive director for the Kankakee County Convention and Visitors Bureau

Nicole Gavin has been named the interim executive director for the Kankakee County Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Daily Journal reports the organization’s board made the decision at its regular monthly meeting this past Wednesday. Gavin is currently the office and retail operations manager for the convention and visitors bureau. Gavin replaces Staci Wilken, who submitted her resignation earlier this month, after leading the organization for six years. Wilken’s last day is August 1st.
