Kankakee City Police look to ID weekend shooter

Kankakee City Police are looking into a shooting that happened outside a bar in the 200 block of South Schuyler Avenue early Sunday morning. In a press release, City Police say they were called to the parking lot about 1:45 Sunday morning for a report of a gunshot victim. When they got there, officers say they found a 28-year-old man who had been shot. The man was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. City Police ask anyone with any information on the shooting, call their office at 815-933-0426.
