Murder trial begins in Livingston County

A jury was seated today in Livingston County Court for the triple murder trial of 55 year old Clifford Brewer of Cullom.  Brewer is charged with six counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his 48 year old wife, Shirley, his 27 year old son Christian and a 51 year old neighbor.  All were shot to death on Christmas Day of 2019 in Brewer’s home.  All had been shot in the head.  Opening statements are scheduled for tomorrow.
